Open Your Eyes – Alter Bridge guitar cover

One of my favourite solos by the great Mark Tremonti, from the song Open Your Eyes by Alter Bridge. Interestingly, this song is played in DADADD tuning, where the open strings make the D5 chord (there is no 3rd, so it’s neither major nor minor). Really enjoyable tuning to play in as you get some lovely voicings for suspended chords, as can be heard in the rhythm guitar tracks.

Lead parts were played on my PRS CE22 and rhythm parts played on my Jackson Dinky. All effects and amps from my Line 6 Helix.
