Master Of Puppets (Metallica) – guitar cover

The intro and main riff from Metallica’s Master of Puppets, from their 1986 album of the same name. The tricky thing with this riff is that it is played pretty much exclusively with palm muted down-strokes. It’s one of those riffs that just doesn’t sound right when played with alternate picking, which gives it more of a swing and less of an aggressive attack.
